This diffuser design is enhanced by a removable-fitting and tapering stem that makes the transition from a strong diffuser light to a blind lamp structure area gentle. The base is finished in zamac, the stem in thermoplastic resign.

Castore Calice is composed of steel tubing that is covered by a tapered sleeve in white translucent polycarbonate, allowing for partial soft diffusion of light from difffuser. The Castore's diffuser is constructed of white handblown glass that has an external etched finish, which is open for the small version and closed for the large.
